Ossia & Einhorn "La Fee"

Out Now on Whoop Records

Ian Ossia is one of those djs who is constantly plying his trade but remains out of focus to most but those in the know, playing gigs across the world in destinations such as Australia, England and Prague. It was in Prague that he came to hook up with producer and dj Joel Einhorn at the acclaimed Roxy club in Prague where he has played on many occasions. Coming from a background of playing for the likes of Renaissance Ian had already proven his worth as a dj, thanks in part to some mix compilations for their own label alongside Nigel Dawson (Renaissance Presents) and Dave Seaman (Renaissnace Mix Collection Volume 4) , whilst Joel enjoys his residency at the Roxy with gigs all around Europe, as well as having recently been a runner up in Muzik's Bedroom Bedlam competition. The duo have spent some time together in the studio and have emerged with the first of several works, entitled 'La Fee'

The Original Mix is melodic beauty that oozes warmth with its funky rolling melody line and emotive chords riding over a blissful uplifting groove as Natali's vocal trickles throught the intricate loops and arrangements with gorgeous results, telling the story of the absinthe fairy, La Fee (the fairy). Let her guide you.. follow her..

The remix comes from one of the hottest producers and remixes of the moment 'Guy Gerber', following on from his success on such singles as 'Kenny's Back' and 'Flammer/Soon'. Guy reworks the track in fine fashion, his own brand of twisted house funk meshing with the chord arrangement perfectly, stretching out the beat with some nice cut up loops and squelchy electro-esque riffs all coming together to form another outstanding piece of work

With further material to come from the the guys, including a follow up to La Fee, and Joel having worked on solo material whilst Ian has teamed up with Marc Mitchell for 'About Time', it would seem that very soon Ian Ossia and Joel will have a lot more to add to their well storied careers.
