Greed Feat Lesley "I See You"

Out Now on SOG Liquid

Greed has made a name for himself with such tracks as 'Promises' and 'Strange World', both of which were well received and are talked about even to this day. Fusing house grooves with the unique vocals of Lesley Meguid, these tracks have bee licensed to compilations worldwide, and now the latest track arrives, entitled 'I See You'.

The a-side remix sees Greed team up with Van Bellen for a subtle house mix, futuristic chords and lush compacted pads creating a hypnotic groove that sways back and forth. As the bass ripples each time the beats rain down into the soundscape being crafted, atmospheric siounds ooze out of the each gap in the track, fading away as Lesley's vocals float softly through the speakers, backed by a warm melody as the groove continues, ever flowing with the assistance of the graceful vocals to a sublime, emotive end.

DJ Nukem is given the task of the remix, using big rolling drum patterns, but soon moves into a deep groove where lush pads wash over Lesley's vocal as it gradually edges it's way into the groove, fading to a single kick drum as it builds towards the break, where the vocal loops over and over, hiding the beats as they kick back in. Whilst tightly produced this isn't anywhere near the calibre of some of Nukem's other work, and is a mild disappointment.

The original oozes a grace much like 'Strange World' did back when that was released, and with more mixes to come, you can be sure you will hear at least one incarnation of this track on the dancefloor over the coming months.
