Full Blown "Death Of Dub"

Out Now on Whoop Records

The latest Whoop release comes all the way from Denmark as DJ Asle arrives on the label, following on from recent signings to Hook and new material getting plays from the likes of Nick Warren. Full Blown is one of his projects, with 'Death Of Dub' being one of the latest cuts to emerge from his studio. As soon as the boys at Whoop! heard it they jumped on it, and now a few months later it's here for you all to enjoy.

Funky bouncing bass rocks as warm chords pepper the groove on the 'Taking If Off Mix', some nice low dubby bass concealing rising synth arrangements which wash over the soundscape being crafted here by DJ Asle. As they rise to the surface, twisted loops seperate them from the rolling bass as everything heads upwards, crashing back to earth as an odd vox effect edges you into a bass heavy break, only for the funky bouncing groove to hit in one last time.

The 'Short Skirt Copenhagen Dub' on the flip strips down the bass, cuts up the groove and rises and drops in all the places, as Asle crafts a floor shakin number here that will get girls showing their asses as the short skirts (or perhaps belts as they are called in the UK) rise up and the floor moves in unison. Tight jackin stuff from Denmark..

Upbeat summery house grooves from one of London's finest little independent's.. and there's plenty more to come..
