The Visitors "Future Movements"

Out Now on Tune Inn Records

The Visitors are Will Paton (aka Willerby) and Anthony Coombs (aka Nexus). 'Future Movements' marks their first release on Tune Inn Records but between them the duo have had work released on Fluid, Hydrogen and Intrisinc, but for now let's see how 'Future Movements' holds up.

The 'Original Mix' builds it's mould around a squelchy acid beat arrangement that works in tandem with the funky bassline to create a tribal edged house cut that bounces along with synths and eerie fx pushing the track in different directions to keep things interesting, laying off the pressure into the break before the bass groove drills back on in for the outro.

'Greed' takes things a little deeper on his remix but increases the futuristic vibe to the max, stripping back the original and retaining the vox and synth patterns but adding some atmospheric effects to full out the void between the groove and beats with hypnotic results, thanks in part to the dreamy break which draws you right in, and this is the mix that shines on the package.

A nice way to end 2002 for Tune Inn and a good template on which to start off 2003. With many releases already lined up be sure to watch out for them over the coming months.
