The Aircrash Bureau "Make Me Wanna"

Out Now on Vsual Recordings

The Aircrash Bureau return with their second single for VSUAL, following on from 'Don't Expect Me' which has gained massive support from djs all over the globe in the past few months. Hoping to capatalise on this, they now deliver the follow up, 'Make Me Wanna'.

The percussion leads us in, but the 'Original Mix' wastes no time in getting down to business. An additional layer of percussion edges it's way in as a faint melody simmers underneath, before a tough snare arrangement rises out of nowhere and pans across the groove, sending growling ripples through the bassline. Layer upon layer of chords wash into the mix before a massive vocal sends things skyward, through a funky edged break and into a vocal led outro that just thumps like a tidal wave against the dancefloor.

The remix comes from Tim Healey's 'Electric Tease' project and they pick up the pace slightly, a wobbling b-line with quirky chord progression channeled through a series of distortion filters form the nucleus of the mix. Spacial effects glide over the bassline as the track builds and drops through a series of mini breakdowns, ending with an atmospheric respite from the carnage before dropping back in big time with quirky effected vox and large bass kicks. Large indeed.

The first release on VSUAL for '03 continues it's quirky yet intriguingly good track record. Forthcoming is yet another single from New Disco Sound Alliance, watch out for it soon.
