Starecase "See"

Out Now on Hope Recordings

See is the third single to be taken from Starecase's debut long player 'First Floor' following on from the singles Bitter Little Pill and Faith. The guys have already gained support on the previous tracks from the likes of DJ Tiesto who has heavily supported Faith and early support on this single has come from Pete Tong who has played the Timo Maas mix several times. So let's find out what the fuss is about.

The Original Mix is the same version as found on the album. Tight production, rolling beats and intricate percussion running in the background provide ample basis for Charlie Newlands to lay down his quirky vocal over. Not so much a song but more of a freeform story, but wrap it all together and you have this catchy, if odd track that is rather hypnotic.

Timo Maas, long time supporter and friend of all at Hope Recordings offers up the remix, shying away from his usual style to give us a deeper journey into the odd. Rising hook lines, analogue sounding percussion and minimal arrangements shape this into a psychadelic treat, courtesty of one of the best gurners in the music industry.

Further remixes will come from Starecase themselves and Rulers Of The Deep, but in the meantime hunt this down for the excellent Timo Maas remix. You will not be disappointed.
