Lovesky "Come Back To Me (The Remixes)"

Out Now on Sunburn Recordings

The 'Hawke Mix' of Lovesky's 'Come Back To Me' was a huge anthem in the record boxes of Sasha, John Digweed and Sander Kleinenberg earlier this year, and now Sunburn deliver some mixes with a difference, that will open the track up to a whole alternative audience.

'Hakan Lidbo' delivers a club mix of the track, stripping things down and utilising some light rolling percussion and live guitar, using the full vocal in a deeply emotive vein, mellow grooves and some soft drums only adding the smoky nature of this rework, which also comes backed with a radio friendly mix for those late night radio sessions. Hakan Lidbo is without a doubt a producer that is very much at home making music for after dark.

'Q-Burns Abstract Message' deliver a quirky bleeptastic rework that just bubbles underneath a punching kickdrum that single handedly pushes the track along as broken beats and sub bass riffs irregularly appear and disspear in between the twistedly infectious vocal. It may not live up to the amazing 'Hawke' mix, but I'm sure this will find a place with someone out there.

A very different set of mixes compared to the original disc, but whilst a bit more leffield and out of the ordinary, these mixes will no doubt find their way into the boxes of people who follow such artists as The Orb, or have late night afterhours tendencies.
