Eddie Amador "Psycho X-Girlfriend (PQM Remixes)"

Out Now on Yoshitoshi Recordings

Eddie Amador understands house music. He even wrote a song about it several years back and since then has continued to make waves, culminating in the release of Psycho X-Girlfiend to great response. Now NYC based producer and dj PQM adds his own ideas to proceedings, and the results are here to be listened to.

Keeping with the story told by Eddie's Main Mix, PQM's Whining Hoe Pass, sweet piano chords leading us into a fast paced evocative vocal, telling the story of the DJ of the story's ex girl, guitar licks washing over the tight house groove, hypnotically locking you in. PQM at his finest.

PQM's Working The Crowd Dub utilises the 'working the crowd' sample in a spliced up fashion. focusing more on the dj himself in addition to the grooves that trickle through the speakers. Not really that much of a depature in terms of arrangement from the Whining Hoe Pass, but different enough to offer up a nice alternative mix.

A great set of remixes to complete the Original 12" and with PQM himself working on his debut artist album, as well as his Led Zepplin cover, Babe I'm Gonna Leave You due fo release with remix from Nu Breed in the near future, the future for this talented producer is skyrocketing fast.
