Drax & Gooding "I Love You / Straight To The Floor"

Out Now on USR Recordings

Drax and Gooding are no stranger to USR, having released the AA Guam/Twister during the label's infancy. Since then Pete Gooding has continued to be Renaissance's resident DJ and will no doubt be playing on the White Isle this summer, whilst Adam Drax has been off producing with Scott Mac for Bonzai UK and Black Hole. Now they reunite for another outing on USR, with I Love You and Straight To The Floor.

I Love You is a tough tribal affair that fuses dark drum patterns with deep percussion and synth effects, subtly weaving in a powerful twisted vocal and effects to really give the track some driving energy that will ensure it does the business on tougher floors. As the break kicks in and the snares pulsate slowly behind the synths, it will take your breath away.

Straight To The Floor heads for a different direction, a more trippy synth effect kicking things off before a fluctuating percussion line moves things deeper into a more melodic slant and then the track really lifts off in the break as the main melody unleashes on the soundscape, atmospheric sounds floating behind the main percussion which then takes over the track.

Yet another nice release from USR. and Straight To The Floor will ensure this finds it's way into at least a few record boxes for the summer season.
