Chris Lum hails from San Francisco and has etched a name for himself over recent months with productions and remixes on more than a handful of labels including NRK, Credence and Defected and has previously remixed Echomen´s Truth for Hooj before unleashing this doublepack, Feelin High / You´re Mine off his own back. You´re Mine heralds a journey to the darker side of house, into the style that perhaps Steve Lawler would play, a trippy percussive groove holding the reigns of a large dose of funk and diva style vocals. Minimally arranged but sleazily addictive.

On the second disc Nova Scotia continue in fine form, reworking ´Feelin High´ into a deep and soulful yet majorly funky vibe, whilst the disc is backed up with some ´extras´ in the form of a radio friendly version of You´re Mine in addition to an acapella of Feelin High. One for the djs indeed.
