Abraham Bam Boogie "Deep Satisfaction"

Out Now on Kinky Vinyl

Abraham Bam Boogie is the alter ego of Rik Lees, who has previously worked on labels including Maesltrom and Undercurrent where his track 'Dance To The Music' was received with such accolade that it's scheduled to be re-released on Star 69 in the near future, but not one to rest on his laurels, Rik has come up with this, the fifth release for Kinky Vinyl, entitled 'Deep Satisfaction'.

The 'Original Mix' is just as the vocal in the intro says.. 'Deep', 'Deep', as a rising build into a tripped out funky groove commences, analogue scratchback effects and bleepy synths drop into the groove on occasion as the vocal really shines amongst the rough production, weaving and winding it's way forward with casual abandon. The mood is just right that if you hear this baby out on the dancefloor you'll find yourself listening the vocal, before tapping your foot to the the funky groove that drops in after a drop right at the end. Capitvatingly kinky essential vinyl.

The 'Lazlo Panaflex Mix' kicks with a funky pulsating groove that bounces along nicely, quirky sound effects dropping over the scratchy tripped out groove as spacial synths rise and drop in the foreground as the 'Deep Satisfaction' vocal rises to the surface subtly as the track comes to an atmospheric respite where the vocal takes control, subconciously drawing you into the groove before more kinky funk is sprinkled into the mix to bring things to a climax

Kinky Vinyl continues to diversify further and further with each release and as the funky younger brother of Whoop! is certainly offering something different in terms of approach and appeal. Watch out for forthcoming releases from Guy Gerber with his second ADD single, as well as singles from Nathan G and what is tipped to be a 'bomb', in the form of Revolution by Stephane Malca.
