"Genetica / Monothistic"

Out Now on Within Records

The talented two usually known as Deep Space Organisms turn out another quality record on their Within Records label. Aural Imbalance is Simon Huxtable and Monothy is Simon and studio genius Tim Black. These tracks are both beautiful, and soothing, and made for mellowing while induced on what ever you enjoy, while slipping yourself into some lush, quality sounds.

‘Genetica’ has been received tons of support from the heavy weights. John Digweed played this on his Kiss FM show, and it blew everyone away. It’s a light song, with beautifully twisted melodies, and watery effects swirling and shifting together. A light floaty synth comes in phasing and going back and forth through your speakers. The breaks slowly come in. Nice drum sounds that are never too full on or hard melt together with the lush pads. Trippy melodies grow and build, and wash all over, as if you’re swimming in sound. The bassline is rich and thick underneath. Tiny high sounds fall on top and sprinkle over the melodies for added depth. This oozes with quality sounds, and the lushness never ends. Amazing tune.

‘Monothistic’ starts with a nice snyth line and then into some congo drum sounds. The bassline starts in as the driving force, but it’s still very mellow and trippy. Some very electronic squishy sounds come in bubbling in and out of the drums. Going off into some mellow breaks, some massive synths come up over the drums washing over the song, and whisking it away. The synths twirl up and down, and are spat out into even more cascades of sound.

An outstanding record to listen to, dance to, and fall into. Get this now.
