Sworn "U Dont Feel"

Out Now on Vinyl Vice

After the excellent debut release from Innate & Kenny Shifter, Vinyl Vice enlist the services of another of the Midlands Mafia's extended family as Andy Moor returns to the forefront with a brand new single from his Sworn project. Having spent the last few months working alongside Leama and Mick Parks, his profile has been soaring through the roof at an astounding rate and whilst he's recently joined Tilt, 'U Don't Feel' proves that he's more than capable of doing things for himself.

Like much of his recent output, the 'Original Mix' is an awesome peak time epic, with a solid progressive house groove turning up the heat from the opening moments. Rolling analogue bass, floaty pads and a melodic hook that drills it's way into your mind as it flutters up and over the top, backed by elegant string arrangements will capture the attention of the dancefloor big time, and when the drums start to kick harder, a vocal shuffles it's way through the busy soundscape leading into two massive drops that will blow the floor away. An unrelenting and energetic track that will make the floor become alive time and time again.

The 'Dub Mix' strips back the vocal hook, letting a vibrant and funky bassline lead the way, churning up the other elements of the mix as it sets about it's way. A deeper mood prevails, but there's still a fair amount of dramatic effects and drops to ensure that this mix is every bit as effective as it's counterpart.

Vinyl Vice are currently two for two, having made an impressive start with both this and the previous release by Innashift. Quite what else they have in store for us remains to be seen, but if are looking for that secret weapon for your sets, then this will do the job rather nicely indeed.
