Snake Sedrick & Andro "Liquid State / Solid State"

Out Now on Screen Recordings

Snake Sedrick & Andro come together on Screen Recordings to showcase their deep progressive sound. Zolton Hedrick aka Snake Sedrick was born in 1980 in Budapest with a passion for music, and after meeting and giving Moshic some of his own music his career has taken off. Gabor Baki aka Andro has had releases on Mechanism and Nascent Recordings, and has developed his sound to encompass a deep and trippy influence. 'Liquid State' and 'Solid State' are two smooth cuts of progressive house backed with great basslines, perfect for set building.

'Liquid State' has a cool warm up groove to it. The bassline moves along a tight set of drums and high hats, while spacey synths loom over top swirling and working into a rich atmosphere. A cascading arpeggio floats in moving the song through drum changes and into a break, which opens up for the arpeggio to move down keys and then back into the drums. This is a very smooth dreamy ride through a minimal soundscape.

A low pulsing groove starts in opening up 'Solid State'. Cool clicky snaps and fuzzed out drums set up a shuffling beat that falls into a thick wavering pad. Washing over the drums and swirling perfectly, the synth is rich with beauty. A hypnotic stab fills in the sparse drums taking the tune deep into a break. As uplifting synths rise, watery tones wash over and a cool swinging melody kicks in and follows the song out.

These are tunes to get those heads bobbing and feet moving. The slight groove and melodies are perfect head tingling sounds that make up another release for Screen Recordings.
