Rhythm Unlimited "All I Wanna Do / Yo Wanna Disco"

Out Now on Silver Planet Recordings

Dave Taylor returns with his third Rhythm Unlimited single for Silver Planet, following on from 'Feel This' and the more recent 'Reflections'. Based in London's Notting Hill, Dave has developed his skills and sound over the last few years, and this AA side single is his most diverse to date.

'All I Wanna Do' shies away from the usual Silver Planet vibe, big chunky bass and stomping beats both contributing to a rough driving slice of house music, loud 'All I Wanna Do' vocal loops bursting out over the top during the first few minutes of the track. Then cut up scatty effects are injected into the groove for a druggy final half very reminiscent of something you might expect to hear from Timo Maas, Lottie or James Zabiela.

'Yo Wanna Disco' is another twisted cut based around electro breaks. Big rolling beats, rising stabs and laser style effects coupled with an hypnotic vocal push forward, with some heavy bass making sure the floor is left shaking thanks to this quirky, eclectic breaks track.

Both tracks are far removed from the style of many of Silver Planet's more recent releases, and if dirty and twisted grooves and beats are your thing, then this is one for you.
