Oxygen Feat Ariel Cybana "Inside Me "

Second release on the new Release Grooves was cooked up in house by Release's own Jerome Robins and Adam Nathan. Following on from their 2001 single 'Troubled Souls' they team up with San Fran DJ Ariel Cybana, who's sultry and seductive vocal tones provide the key element of this x-rated track known as 'Inside Me', with Barry Gilbey and Martin Accorsi enlisted to add their own touch to the track.

'Barry Gilbey' takes things darker in his mix, with layered tribal rhythms and pulsating riffs adding to the sordid and filthy nature of the track. Ariel's moaning and seductive delivery of her vocals builds up a great sense of anticipation in the mix, and controls the release of energy that is built up via some superb drum patterns that are constant throughout, with his added acapella a welcome inclusion some perverse dj tool action.

'Martin Accorsi' keeps the vibe pretty much the same, but adds some trippy effected and druggy groove to create a darker and more twisted version that will fit in nicely during those sets where the dj is f*!king with your mind, whilst some seedy sounds lend to the mood nicely.

Two dark and dirty mixes, yet fitting the label's sound and direction nicely. Whilst not the most amazing record of it's genre, it's one that you can pull out in a set late at night and it will fit in anywhere you wish, so it's versatility is what you have to consider.
