Sex On Wax is currently run by The Idiots, an outfit consisting of Desyn Masiello, 16B, and Leon Roberts. They have made themselves known for releases which differ from your standard run of the mill, and this one is no exception.

Omid "16B" Nourizadeh should need no introduction, being at the forefront of the UK house scene for some time now. His back catalogue contains a vast number of productions and remixes, and anyone unfamiliar with his work is well advised to check it out. Richard West, better known as Mr C made his appearance in the music scene back in 1987, and was a rapper/vocalist for experimental outfit The Shamen. After moving through many different styles, he finally made his way to electronic.

Sexy is probably the best word to sum up That Look. With a dark underlying groove holding the track together, a few effects are brought in, but it is the combination of deep atmosphere and sexy whispers of vocals which make this track. This is the type of track DJs keep hidden until that perfect moment during very late night, and when it's dropped the crowd just go insane with the raw lust of the tune. On the flipside we are presented with an Instrumental Mix. The vocals of the Original Mix which added so much to the tune have been stripped out altogether, and in doing this some of the feel has been lost. However for the creative DJ, this could be seen as an opportunity to showcase their talent with acapellas.

Whilst this will not be everyone's thing, house lovers will be drooling over this release, and it is definately worth the listen. An overall solid release for Sex On Wax, and a much darker excursion for 16B.
