Luke Dzierzek "One Day / Echo"

Out Now on Silver Planet Recordings

The past few months has seen a changing of the guard as Silver Planet have brought several new up and coming producers and acts to our attention, with Speedcats and Orchid amongst those to have recently appeared on the label, and now 20-year old Luke Dzierzek is yet another young padawan to join the roster with his debut AA single.

'One Day' is a cool electronic house track with a ferocious, driving twist. The dense beats and pounding bass prove to be a formidable duo, with the track's inner energy lending enough bite to guarantee some chaos and mayhem on the dancefloor, but at the same time having a fundamental groove that has seen it obtain support from right across the spectrum.

'Echo' continues the electro vibes, paying homage to the more European sound that has been dominating as of late. With a dirty lead synth that sends the floor into spasm, cool hypnotic techy grooves that subconsciously lure you in, and a fair amount of twisted grit. The result is a stunning piece of electro that John Dahlback was feeling so much, he's done his own version of it.

Luke Dzierzek's debut is nothing short of staggering, and with remixes for Suicide Sports Club on new Bedrock offshoot B_Rock, and an interpretation of the VFR classic 'Tranceillusion' for GU Music amongst several other ongoing projects, it seems that the twisted sounds that are emerging out of Kent will be echoing for a lot longer than one day.
