After somewhat of a hiatus, Airtight returns with a new release from Holland's. Lounge Conjunction. Having previously been involved with labels such as Combined Forces, and an excellent remix of Solid Sessions' laid back opus 'Janeiro', Mike de Graeve and Roelove Hakkert have forged a reputation for producing sublime deep house joints and laid back house grooves. Both tracks here were licensed from Amsterdam based label Nibiru Records, ensuring that they dont go unmissed.

Easing us in to start things off is 'Give', a 4/4 inspired house cut that warms your soul with it's tight beats and looped chords which sail backwards into the groove. Smooth bass and breathy vox compliment the smokey, laid back tempo of the sounds and this will sound great in a bar set or early evening warm up.

Leave it to the b-side, 'Nansei Syoto' to dazzle with it's textured grooves, broken beat percussion and techy sounds which effect the bass. Swilring downbeat atmospherics, analogue stabs and intricate melodies just add the final touch to this sun drenched beats and house hybrid.

A welcome return for Airtight, with this deep and groovy two tracker sure to warm a few minds over the summer months. Watch out for material from Zoo Brasil, with none other than Laid on the remix in the not too distant future.
