Jose Zamora & Chris Nemmo "Lochness EP"

Out Now on Lowriders Recordings

Jose Zamora is one of many exciting new producers emerging out of Greece over the past few months, his productions alongside fellow producers and friends Chris Nemmo and also Dousk receiving support from many the the progressive scene's key players, and his work subsequently finding it's way onto many labels, including Matthew Dekay and Nick K's Lowriders imprint. 'Lochness' is a collaboration between Jose and Chris, that blends house grooves with progressive elements to create a satisfying club track that totally fits the ethos of this label.

Jose & Chris's 'Original Mix' is a superb funky progressive jaunt riddled with warmth and atmosphere. Floaty effects, deep melodies and chords and some ethereal atmospheric moods bring a sense of elegance and beauty to this cool track. A big sense of depth is created by the effects, with soaring strings and evolving melodies. Going deeper as the soundscape moves forward, this is a masterful and forward thinking cut that will leave more than a few jaws resting on the floor.

'Dousk' provides two mixes over on the flip, the first opting for a more emotive and upbeat twist that will get the dancefloor moving with it's big hooks and rippling bassline leading to a massive heavenly breakdown and tribal finale, whilst his 'Nightly Mix' sees him getting all twisted and techy with a heavy bass inspired reinterpretation that is more suited for those heads down moments late at night, and both mixes are well produced and effective in their delivery.

Perhaps the most solid release on Lowriders to date, and with quality cuts from Bart Van Wissen to follow, you can be rest assured that more quality is on it's way.
