Jono Fernandez "Deliver Me"

Out Now on Institution Breaks

Jono Fernandez has released some great music on labels such as Electrofly and the brilliant EQ Grey and his tracks are played by the biggest DJs in the world such as Hernan Cattaneo and James Zabiela. Making his debut for Institution Breaks, Jono has created a sweet breakbeat track with ethereal vocals and low bottom end chords, the resulting 'Deliver Me' is very tasty indeed, and if that wasn't enough, theres a smooth and silky rendition from Digital Witchcraft on the flip.

The 'Original Mix' has a solid and bouncy groove and twinkly electro beepy synths. Great slapping breaks start in along with bit reduced crunchy percussive tones and a arpeggiated mid that keeps the song moving as the bass crawls underneath. A new bassline explodes after a bit sucking the tune up and down chords. The main hook swings in moving over the song and taking it thru various movements. Female chanting vocals hook in, as the drums and percussion change from edits, stutters and effects, and this fantastic track that is a real showcase of sound and movement.

'Digital Witchcraft' transform the track into a smooth ethereal progressive break with soaring synths and frolicking beats. Rolling drums and cut up vocals start in, while the twinkly arpeggiated synth carries on into a break which introduces more drums. Sweepy synths explode on top of the music bringing it all down to a dreamy break, while new chords drop in and bounce along with the beats.

A label that has come a long way in a short period of time, Institution Breaks manage to bring a quality release to the shelves, and at the same time giving Jono the chance to show off his capabilities once again.
