With the Luke Chable Dub causing some serious damage at the WMC2004 at pretty much every party and set it made an appearance in, 'Time' has already caught the attention of many DJs and vinyl junkies the world over, but for those who have yet to make the plunge, here come a set of new mixes to whet your appetite from fast rising star Dibaba and Gwill Morris himself.

Eclectic beats and keyboard hooks create a rather left of centre interpretation courtesy of 'Dibaba'. Kyla's vocal floats over the top in almost acappella form, as crisp drum arrangements and melodic hooks move below. A subtle yet consistent house groove moves the track along, and whilst it doesn't evolve that much, it mirrors the laid back arrangements nicely. An innovative mix for the more experimental DJ.

Gwill's own 'Trippy Dub' strips out the vocals and infuses deep electronic sounds and hooks into the mix. The tempo remains the same, but layers of effects and chimes create an haunting theme that remains the focus throughout. The hypnotic groove edges it's way into your mind and soon you find yourself compelled by this enchanting rework.

Two excellent mixes that venture off down their own unique tangents, whilst adding versatility to the overall package of mixes on offer. This is one of those records that you should keep in your box as there will always be a chance for it to get some use, and is another great release from Skyline Records.
