Finger Fest Inc "Chemical Whore"

Barry Gilbey and D. Ramirez are back with their second release under the moniker Finger Fest Inc. Their first release 'Autoporno' went down a storm in clubs all around the world, and we should expect the same sort of damage from this one. Already caned by the best of them, including John Digweed and Hernan Cattaneo, 'Chemical Whore' is a heavy hitting drugged out tune that’s build for huge systems and heart pounding gyration.

The 'Original Mix' leads in with a frenzy of tribal drums that travel at a rapid speed, intermixing with crazy sounds to fill your head. A muffled voice saying "I'm a chemical whore" moves in through the break, teasing and building in a hypnotic drugged up trippy way. The loop becomes the hook of the tune and bursts back in full force with the drums. The pounding cannot be explained. It's heavy and hard, but has so much funk it makes you move. The bassline is massive. Chord stabs push the song to the end, and this makes for one hell of a head fuck track.

The 'Dubadon' mix seems to be nothing more then a mix without the hooky vocal, similar in mind, and similar in style. The bass once again is huge, and the sounds are all there.

'Chemical Whore' highlights the skill of both producers involed. Barry Gilbey creates sounds that move a crowd, and with D Ramirez bringing out the sadist in Gilbey's personality, this is pure evil.
