Deepgroove "Electrik"

Hot on the heels of a recent appearance on hot UK label Cuba Recordings comes this latest single from those Deepgroove boys Lee Pattison and Grayson Shipley on Intra Records. This label, run by has been quietly making waves in the last few months, and 'Electrik' is quite possibly it's biggest release to date, with hot property of the moment Steve Angello providing the re-rerub.

As one might expect, Angello's remix is cool and funky twist on the phat and slightly deeper original. Both mixes rock, the 'Steve Angello Mix' the heavier of the two, a big beat extravaganza with a killer bassline, whilst Deepgroove's 'Original Mix' goes the more filtered route with electro tinged overtones that give it a deep and dirty feel.

The bonus track 'Diva (In My House' is an equally as potent track, a dark druggy house track that has been a staple of the sets of jocks like THE Pete Heller and Superchumbo himself, Tom Stephan as of late. Building more subtly than the other tracks on offer, this is more suited to those late night sets, but will stand out in it's own unique way.

Once again this hotly tipped duo from Bristol deliver the goods, and for all your house lovers, prepare to get electrified.
