Chad Jackson Presents Group Therapy "Do You Do Voodoo"

Out Now on Therapy Music

DMC mixing champion and veteran producer Chad Jackson's contributions to the dance music scene over the years are well documented, with his most notable accolade being the classic 'Hear The Drummer Get Wicked'. Having had several releases on the 90s imprint Stress, it came as little surprise when he and Dave Seaman formed the Group Therapy project, a project that allows them to work collectively or individually on a range of different styles and ideas, and if you were to compare 'Do U Do Voodoo' to the previous Group Therapy single 'My Own Worst Enemy' then you will see this diversity certainly had its advantages.

The Group Therapy 'Original Mix' pays a passing nod to old school acid house influences with some big sweepling leads. Powered by some smooth house grooves, the vocal hook subtly builds its way through the track, climaxing in a break that will send a shivver down the spine.

'Livio & Roby' take the track down a more intense route, using tight percussion and piano rolls to create a rocking tempo, and stripping back the vocal and spreading it throughout their mix. A solid house mix with some great summery vibes that comes just in time for the hottest season of the year.

Following on from the inaugural Group Therapy debut, 'Do U Do Voodoo' looks set to be another successful release for Chad Jackson, and if the support it's already received during the Ibiza season is any indication, expect this to find it's way onto some of the best summer compilations in the next few weeks.
