Carter & Swain "Believe"

Out Now on Plastica Red

This latest project from Plastica Red sees Kevin Swain (one half of production duo Swain and Snell) spread his wings and change production partners, teaming up with producer and vocalist Nick Carter for this 80's influenced house track entitled 'Believe'. Both having extensive production credentials, Kevin Swain's going all the way back to the 80's as part of Shoom and D.O.P, and Nick having worked with the likes of Vince Clark, the duo bring all their experience together and the results do suprise indeed....

The distinct 80's style drums are not the only old skool element of the 'Original Mix', and as the main bassline and hook kick in, you'll find yourself recalling some of the big synth led tracks of the period, as 'Believe' will get the floor shifting with it's big rolling bassline and electronic stabs. Add in vocal that draws influence from some of the best bands of the era such as Depeche Mode, and fill it out with deep sliding sounds and this is one dirty infectious dancefloor bomb ready to explode.

And if that wasnt enough, the 'Dub Mix' strips away the vocal and beefs up that massive bassline, adding plenty of atmospheric sounds to push it further, and creating an alternative mix which you can use on it's own, for an extended dirty assault on the dancefloor, or to just get the fuck on down to. Massive!

Probably the biggest thing on Plastica Red in many months, and following hot on the heels of Hisham's huge remix of 'Compass Error' by Atlas, this is yet another 12" that needs to be in your box. Don't think about it, just do it..
