Anarcrusan "In My Mind"

Shinichi continues to carve out its niche in the dance music scene with the release of Anarcrusan’s “In My Mind.” Anarcrusan, otherwise known as MAS Collective who were behind the massive 'In My Mind' which made its way onto Deep Dish’s Global Underground Moscow. By straying out of the deep depths and offering hints of bright melody, “In My Mind” helps reinforce the distinction between Shinichi and its mother label, Yoshitoshi. This track has the support of Pete Tong, John Digweed and Paul Oakenfold.

Remember not so long ago when melody was all the rage? Chart toppers such as Energy 52’s “Café Del Mar” and Three Drive’s “Greece 2000” were getting played around the world by every DJ. Shortly after that came the minimal and tribal revolutions which were marked by deep and dark. With help from tracks such as Anarcrusan’s “In My Mind,” DJs are finding that support on the floor for melody is growing. The melodies of the Mas Arcadia Mix show the maturity that has developed in electronic music production. Striking close to Chicane like song writing, Anarcrusan keeps a hint of deep and dark around to help smooth the transition.

“In My Mind” is delivered in two mixes and both will surely please. The Undertouch Mix has a bit more deep trance infused into the melody while the Mas Arcadia Mix hints at a breakbeat. Both ride on the brilliantly light melody and will evoke powerful feelings.
