Various Artists - Bedrock: Layered Sounds 2

The follow-up to the original label compilation, Layered Sounds 2 provides a glimpse into the impressive international talent dwelling under the Bedrock name, spread over two unique discs, one focusing on the downtempo side of the Bedrock label, and the other on it's more traditional club sound. The album's John Digweed has been a busy man recently, working simultaneously as DJ, promoter, and producer.

In addition to having brought us the new 'Original Series' compilations and the first artist album from Pole Folder, Digweed and production partner Nick Muir have been hard at work on the new Bedrock single due out early Autumn, and this new Layered Sounds album is just the first of several album projects yet to come from the Bedrock label.
