Bill Hamel & Barry Jamieson Earn Grammy Nomination

Orlando, Florida-based producers BILL HAMEL & BARRY JAMIESON received their first Grammy Award nomination last Thursday, December 4 for Best Remixed Recording (non-classical) for their remix of Seal´s hit single “Get It Together.” Released earlier this year by Warner Brothers Records, HAMEL´s version of the song served as a pivotal tool, crossing it on to club dance floors and into the DJ sets of such heavy hitters Deep Dish, KCRW´s Jason Bentley and Pete Tong. HAMEL also remixed Justin Timberlake´s “Cry Me A River” which peaked at #1 on Billboard´s Maxi-Single Sales chart and #2 on the Dance Club Play chart.
