Chloe Harris - B Sides

DJ, producer and occasional [PS] collaborator Chloe Harris is set to release a compilation for Proton Music, based on her long running internet radio show ´B-Sides´, and is currently seeking and compiling music to feature on both this and the releases that will accompany, as part of the launch of her own Further Music imprint. Those wishing to submit music or find out more about Chloe and her projects can do so after the drop.

Introduction:
Most people know Chloe Harris for the time she has spent on the decks recently with DJs such as John Digweed, and many others , but she has been pushing the limits of the electronic music scene for years. With her show B-Sides on Proton Radio, Chloe has introduced many to sounds that are not the mainstream, and has been cultivating a following of listeners for over 6 years now. It is no wonder that Proton Ltd, Protons new offshoot label, has asked Chloe to mix their first compilation.

The concept is simple: to present a collection of tracks and remixes by Chloe and other artists that will challenge the way our music is thought of in the electronic music culture today, and where it will go in the future. With her vast knowledge of various genres and sounds, Chloe will no doubt deliver an astounding product. Proton Ltd. is very happy to be involved in this experiment.

We are calling for submissions from producers around the world to be involved in this project. Please submit your tracks (finished or unfinished) to limited@protonradio.com. Chloe will be selecting the tracks for the compilation herself. More information is forthcoming. The compilation is due out in March of 2009.

Chloes B-Sides show has consistently delivered the best experimental music for over 6 years on Proton Radio. It has been a leader of championing the sides of the music that many are unfamiliar with.

"I am searching for any and all forms of electronic music. Ambient, dub, downtempo, experimental, drone, idm, electro, techno, minimal, house, deep house, rock, indie, nu wave, click, beep, zap, breaks, dubstep. Basically throw anything you can at me. I want pieces of music you have but dont know how to finish, or bits and pieces of songs that never came into fruition.

My goal is to make an interesting and very layered project and would love for you to all be involved. I am hoping to genre hop but make it sound as if its one cohesive piece you can listen to afterhours, in the morning or when you just want something to head bob to."
